A new study by non-profit organisation SG Her Empowerment (SHE), which surveyed 25 survivors of online harms, has found that they are not getting the support they need. The survivors cited complex legal systems, delayed platform responses and societal stigma. SHE is calling for a system that allows survivors to report to a central agency, and for harmful content to be taken down quickly. Kate Low reports.

In the meantime, JTC Corporation, which oversees Singapore's industrial infrastructure, has installed oil booms and CCTV cameras along an open seaward section of a key drainage to monitor oil gathered at the booms.

Night patrol along Tuas South Ave 16 and Tuas South Way has been deployed to intensify the surveillance of the area, said MPA. 

The agency added that it is deploying regular patrols to monitor the waters off Tuas Port, with oil spill response craft ready to be activated at short notice.
